BIO
Candace Corey specializes in makeup artistry but
also does hair styling upon request.  Her
versatility has helped her create a multitude of
looks using hair, makeup, and body paint.
As a self taught makeup artist she admitted, “Even
though I have a background in art, I never chose
makeup artistry, makeup artistry chose me.”

Candace got her first taste of being a makeup
artist, as a promotional model.  One day, while
working for Clinique, she was asked to stop
modeling and assist a few customers in choosing
their makeup. At that moment, she discovered a
new passion and a talent for helping others to recognize their own personal beauty. After that, she
was hooked.

She immediately abandoned modeling in favor of doing makeup. She started her makeup career as a
regional freelance makeup artist for various cosmetic companies including Clarins, Ultima II and Iman.
As her skills grew, she was quickly promoted as a national makeup artist for Lancôme and several
other major cosmetic lines.

Her work has graced the pages of numerous publications. In October 2007 her work was featured in 4
magazines; Rolling Stones, Oprah magazine, Beauty News and Brides Noir, all in the same month.  Her
skills can also be seen in various advertisement  campaigns like Paul Stuart, Arrow, Video Now, Volvo
and Totes.

Her creativity has continued to branch out into other areas.  Currently she was appointed as Beauty
Director for Brides Noir magazine.  She has also been a featured beauty expert for the
Americas
Beauty Show
, The Makeup Show, Mirror Mirror, Better TV and The Wendy Williams Show.
After over 22 years of artistry, her zeal and desire to continue to create has
not waned. Each experience is still exhilarating! While others wake up to a
fresh pot of coffee, Candace awakes to a sketch pad, anxious to write down
all of the creative ideas that she dreamt about

“This is the job of my dreams. I hope I never wake up from it!” - Candace
